Welcome to PlayPantry! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PlayPantry mobile application ("App") and related services provided by PlayPantry ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PlayPantry, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

2. Description of Service

PlayPantry is a family-focused application that provides:

• AI-powered meal idea generation based on your pantry items
• Play activity suggestions tailored to your children's ages and interests
• Pantry inventory management with expiration tracking
• Chaos mode for spontaneous meal and play planning
• Family sharing features for premium subscribers

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Payments

Free Plan: Basic access to meal and play idea generation with daily limits.

Premium Plan: Unlimited generations, family sharing, advanced features, and priority support.

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to PlayPantry (such as custom recipes, feedback, or photos). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and modify this content to provide and improve our services.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App to collect personal information about other users
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: PlayPantry uses artificial intelligence to generate meal ideas, recipes, and play activities. While we strive for accuracy and safety:

• AI-generated recipes are suggestions and should be reviewed before preparation
• Always verify ingredient safety for allergies and dietary restrictions
• Supervise children during all recommended activities
• We are not responsible for adverse reactions to AI-suggested content
• Use your parental judgment for age-appropriateness of activities

8. Health and Safety

PlayPantry provides informational suggestions only. We are not medical, nutritional, or childcare professionals. Always:

• Consult healthcare providers for medical or nutritional advice
• Check ingredients for allergens before preparing any meal
• Supervise children during play activities
• Use age-appropriate safety precautions

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of PlayPantry (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayPantry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any errors or omissions in AI-generated content
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• Any third-party conduct on the App

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PlayPantry operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
